ONLINE RESTRICTED LICENSE TESTING NOW AVAILABLE!
Students who successfully complete the MyFirstLicense.com course are now
eligible to take their restricted driver license examination ONLINE and are 17 and under at the time of registration. You cannot take the online test if you are 18 or older.

Upon successful completion of the course, it is recommended that you study the
Florida Driver's Handbook before taking the test to receive your restricted
license. Go to your local driver's license office to pick up your copy today!

Then, you may simply logon to
www.myfirstlicense.net
to register for the online test.
- You must be 17 or under to take the online test and are required to have your parent/guardian proctor (watch) while you take the exam.

Cost for the test is $20.00, payable at the time of online registration. If you
fail the test, an additional fee of $7.00 will be charged for retakes of the
test. You will be allowed ONLY two retakes. If you do not pass the exam
after three attempts, you must go to the driver's license office for the test.

Upon successful completion of the online test, notification will automatically
be sent to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

Go to your local Driver's License office to apply for your restricted license.
The Driver's License office will charge an additional $20.00 for the vision
test, the hearing test and the photograph taken upon
successful completion. Your parents or guardians must have a notarized copy of the proctoring form stating they watched you complete the exam online.
